Loreal was definitely born to be a doula! I moved to San Antonio in September with my husband and my first baby was due in October. I really wanted a natural birth but didn’t know what to expect or if it was even possible. I figured having a doula would help me feel more supported and confident about birth. Loreal was the perfect person for this job! She has a very warm and empathetic personality. From our first meeting, I automatically felt very comfortable with her and I felt like she was confident and reliable. Before birth she took the time to get to know my husband and I and learn our preferences for birth. She honestly felt like a very close friend right from the beginning. During labor she made me feel safe the entire time. She was like this mother-nature feminine positive energy that I didn’t know I needed until I needed it! She rubbed my back and gave me encouragement when I needed it and she pushed me when I was getting scared and needed it. She was basically the perfect person to have at your birth. I ended up having my ideal birth- completely natural in a hospital setting and I attribute a lot of that to the support Loreal gave us. 10/10 would recommend.
